Jake is a freelancing videographer, photographer, and editor from upstate NY, with over 5 years of experience creating dynamic visual content for brands, events, and media. From live-streaming Nike EYBL games to producing news packages for NBC and capturing professional portraits, I handle the full production process—from shooting to editing—with precision and creativity. Skilled in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and OBS, I deliver high-quality, story-driven visuals that help clients grow their audience, elevate their brand, and make a lasting impact!

CITY ROCKS LIVE:
As Co-Founder and Studio Manager of City Rocks Live, I helped build and launch a live-stream, commentary series showcasing the 15U–17U Albany City Rocks basketball teams, part of the prestigious Nike EYBL circuit. Established in 2025 in collaboration with program managers Nolan and Sophia Hart, the show was developed to elevate the visibility of elite youth athletes through high-quality multi-camera livestreams, real-time graphics, and engaging commentary. Our mission is to expand viewership, highlight top talent, and deliver a premium visual experience to the broader EYBL and Nike basketball community.
RAPPERS WITH BARS:
In collaboration with Albany-based artist DJ Leach, Rappers With Bars is a visual performance platform designed to spotlight local hip-hop talent through raw, live-recorded vocals paired with professionally mixed and mastered beats. The project aims to elevate exposure for emerging artists across digital platforms while maintaining the authenticity and stylistic roots of Upstate New York’s rap scene. Since late 2024, I’ve worked closely with DJ Leach on the creative development, visual direction, and brand promotion of both the series and his personal artistry.
WEDDINGS & RECEPTIONS:
This wedding film was captured in late September 2024 at the scenic Castle Breitenbach in Altamont, New York. Jessica and Joslen, the bride and groom, envisioned a timeless, elegant visual narrative that reflected the beauty and simplicity of their love. From pre-production through filming, photography, and final edit, I directed the entire creative process—crafting a cinematic experience that preserved the emotion and atmosphere of their day through both motion and still imagery.
Live Events:
Chasing the Eclipse — Short Documentary Feature
Produced during my time with NBC5 News in South Burlington, Chasing the Eclipse is a short-form documentary capturing the excitement and community spirit surrounding the 2024 total solar eclipse. Filmed on location at a public viewing party in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, I served as sole videographer and editor, crafting a compelling visual segment that aired live during the event. The piece was broadcast to thousands across Vermont and Northern New York, and later gained notable engagement online, earning over 2,000 impressions on LinkedIn. This project reflects my ability to capture real-time events with both journalistic integrity and cinematic storytelling.
